Kettlewell Insurance & Real Estate began in 1945, when Gordon Kettlewell opened an insurance business grounded in the values of personal service, hard work and community. In 1952, Gordon expanded the business to include real estate. In 1967, the business was incorporated as Kettlewell Insurance and Real Estate Ltd.

In 1970, Gordon’s sons Stewart and Clare Kettlewell took over the business, carrying forward the family’s commitment to helping local people protect what matters and make confident decisions. Murray Kettlewell began working at Kettlewell in 2002, followed by Carolyn Damen in 2008, continuing the family’s involvement in a business that has become an important part of the community.

Over the generations, Kettlewell has grown from a small-town insurance office into an established and recognizable name in the insurance industry, while continuing to serve clients in both insurance and real estate. Through that growth, one thing has remained constant: pride in the family business and the relationships built along the way.
